Once again, it feels that time is fleeting with all the projects of spring we are pursuing. Our main focus, around homeschool life, at the moment is supporting our daughter’s entrepreneurial spirit.
Our Young Entrepreneur
This will be our daughter’s second year setting up a booth and selling her stuff. Check out her organic greens booth picked directly from our garden last spring, or her watercolor, molded crayon, and spider plant booth last autumn. The options are endless for young entrepreneurs to get their feet wet in the ocean of opportunity.
Entrepreneurial Rollercoaster
So far this spring, our daughter has already navigated the excitement and challenges of two children’s entrepreneur events, with one more coming up this weekend. She has embraced the buzz of an exciting, busy, and successful show, even departing the event with an award for “Most Business Potential” and a $50 cash prize. Conversely, she faced the challenges of maintaining patience and sanity at another event with meager attendance the very next day.
Philosophy
Regardless of attendance, the true value of these events lay in their philosophy: empowering children aged 5 to 14 to create their own businesses, set up and manage booths, handle sales and make change independently, and engage confidently with the public to promote their work, taking full ownership of their entrepreneurial journey.
Captain of the Ship
As parents, who honestly were equally challenged at the slow event, we were genuinely thrilled our budding business professional experienced the rollercoaster of emotions and enterprise that naturally comes with entrepreneurship. Helping our daughter captain her emotions, take stock of her sales, expenses, and profits, and steer her focus onward, helped us all make the best of the moment. The memories will live on as her mental foundation for her future continues to form, along with some new artwork at this upcoming event, so stay tuned for a future post.
Find a Young Entrepreneur Event
If you know a youth who may be interested in the entrepreneurial opportunity, there are tons of events to be found nationwide. Find an event near you and help support our future generations:
With love, health, and knowledge, may you live abundantly. See you again in the next post.
Warmly,

Little Gems I Recommend
I love to share what works for me and my family. May you too find what best serves you and yours. ☺️
I love this super cool device that helps me with the gazillion photos I have of my daughter. Can you relate?
We have these little guys stuck on all our phones and my daughter’s iPad to protect us.
Ok don’t spoil the surprise, I’m about to get these for our daughter’s upcoming tropical beach party at the lakeside. We’ll also e able to party on with them anywhere in the future and that look so cool!
